Just as Santa relies on his elves to make toys and deliver good cheer, we count on our elves to run the race and support Montgomery.
Join in the Elf Run 5k or 1-mile Youth Run to support Montgomery!
The 5k (3.1 mile) course will take you on a meandering tour through the beautiful Montgomery Center in Keystone Heights, FL. Primarily shaded by the majestic live oaks, enjoy three lake views, pass by cabins and lodges, and get a taste for camp life as you breeze by canoes and ropes courses. The rolling terrain includes woodland floor, grass, paved road, short sections of sand and gravel.
The 1-mile Fun Run is a short portion of the same course, designed for younger runners, walkers, and those who just want to get out and have fun.
This race is more than just a morning run, but can be a fun weekend for the whole family! Friday will host a Spaghetti dinner fundraiser. Tickets are $10 and can be added on your race registration, or purchased from any Montgomery staff or board member. Stick around Saturday morning for a pancake brunch. There’s no rush to leave! Stick around and enjoy the camp grounds on a beautiful Florida December day. Lodging is available in cabins, inn rooms, and RV sites.
Race Weekend Schedule:
Friday:
5 to 7pm: Packet pick up, lodging check in
4:30 to 7:30pm: Community Spaghetti dinner.
Saturday:
8:00 – 8:45 – Packet Pickup & Refreshments
8:45 am – Welcome & Prayer
9:00 am – 5K Race Starts
10:00 am – 1 Mile Youth Race Start
10:30 am – Awards
*9:30 am to 11 am – Pancake Brunch Served ($10 adults/$6 children) Includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, hot chocolate, coffee, juice (served in dining hall)
